2019 Rotary District 6540 Conference at Notre Dame

On Friday, May 10, 2019, Rotarian Renee Florin, and husband Heinz, represented the Auburn Rotary Club at the District 6540 Conference at Notre Dame.  Renee gave a 2 minute PowerPoint presentation on the activities of the Auburn Club over the past 12 months.

They shared that the conference was very informative as well as emotionally moving - siting several stories that were shared by their International Guest Speakers.  The District Conference was host to 5 families from India, who brought beauiful ThankYou gifts for the Indiana Rotarian members that had work with them on international projects for their country.  They also hosted several International Exchange Students, as well as a newly married Rotarian couple from Japan that shared touching stories of their work providing clean water at remote places throughout the world.

They even had fun posing for a picture with the famous Notre Dame Fighting Leprechaun!
